(New in 2008) non-cart owning members a $5.00 per day fee for riding with a cart owning member.

At the November 2007 Board of Directors meeting, a resolution was adopted to begin charging non-cart owning members a $5.00 per day fee for riding with a cart owning member. In past years, this cart trail fee only applied to non-members.
A cart rider fee provides course revenue that, otherwise, would be lost by individuals who would normally rent a cart.
By collecting a cart rider fee, cart owners will not absorb all financial costs to use their carts on the course.
The Stonehedges Board of Directors chose not to raise membership rates or cart space fees for 2008
and feel this new policy is fair and equitable for everyone to help offset the yearly increases in expenditures. We would also like to remind non-cart owning members that cart spaces are available, both inside and outside. A non-cart owning member may pay an annual fee of $150.00 as an unlimited guest rider in a member owned cart. Also, we are offering unlimited course cart usage by our members at $525.00 for one seat and $650.00 for two seats (couple and family membership).
In summary, a cart rider fee of $5.00 per day will be implemented for the 2008 golf season for both non-cart owning members as well as non-members riding in a member owned cart. Member cart owners may ride with another cart owner member at no charge. Since all golfers are required to register prior to play, these fees will be collected at the Pro Shop or by the League Secretary. Your cooperation is truly appreciated.
